Sushi and maki mascot for Planet Sushi
Planet Sushi is a chain of restaurants specialising in japanese cuisine. They called up on my skills as a freelance illustrator to create 5 sushi mascots. We designed variations of those mascots and we used them in different formats (posters, flyers, POS, restaurant menus). I also got to decorate a stand dedicated to kids at the Kidexpo exhibition which is a family-oriented exhibition.
Designing the kids menu
Among the various installations we worked on, there was a kids menu called the “ Sushi Kid box “ and a leaflet with various games in it such as mazes, “spot the difference” and of course crossword puzzles. For those I used vector graphics via Adobe Illustrator to avoid losing any quality when applying the designs to different size formats.
Here you can also take a look at a project I’ve realised for the theme park K’ptain Park. I did some similar work (mascot design, general park decoration etc.).
Planet Sushi needed to appeal to families and that’s the reason why they asked for sushi mascots that the kids would love.
