Creation of educational illustrations for coaching and professional training.

West Conseil called on my services after consulting my website and my various illustrations. Their problem was simple: to put in graphic and pedagogical form, explanatory sheets of their various workshops, trainings, quizzes and exercises. It includes the process and the course for example of a training course, the duration etc … These files already existed however there was too much text and above all they were indigestible to see illegible.

So, my job was to format the text to make understanding more fluid and accessible to everyone. To do this I proposed the creation of a main character by making a mascot illustration that would be found on each sheet.

This mascot thus plays the link / common point on all the cards. Another advantage of this character is that the West Conseil agency can also use it on all of its communication media such as newsletters, social networks or print campaigns.

Graphic design and layout

To make the layout more fun, educational and above all more visual, I suggested the creation of a skit. So for each situation I illustrated a sketch. Each illustration is supported by text. A creation process was put in place where each step had its importance: prune the text, make it more readable and more understandable.

Draw each situation in the form of a sketch, have the sketch validated, then put it in color. Finally, lay out the text and illustrations. For the illustrations, I opted for coloring via illustration. They are therefore vector illustrations which are easier to decline and modify.

A fun and educational communication medium

In the end, I produced five explanatory sheets as well as several variations of the mascot in different situations. Thus West Conseil can communicate in a strong and educational way about its various workshops. For my part, I put in place all of my resources and skills within this project, namely: artistic direction, graphics and illustration.
